Hundreds gathered in Trafalgar Square for a Saturday demonstration in central London, dubbed Everyone Day by campaigners. The protest focused on the ban on Palestine Action, a group proscribed under anti-terror legislation. Signs were carried with messages of resistance and calls to defend the right to protest; some placards read that they oppose genocide and support Palestine Action.

Police said more than 500 people were arrested during the protest. The age range cited was 18 to 87. Officers said arrests were made for supporting a proscribed organisation and for other offences, and warned that attending could breach the law.

Ahead of the event, police had warned of possible criminal offences and urged attendees to consider the consequences. Some participants described the ban as unlawful and said they would continue to demonstrate, while others expressed concerns about public safety. The ban on Palestine Action was introduced in July 2025 under anti-terror legislation but was ruled unlawful in February, though it remained in place pending an appeal.

The demonstration underscores ongoing tensions around anti-terror laws and the right to protest in the capital, with authorities saying they would enforce the law while organisers campaign in support of their cause.
