Is there anything better than hearing that the Community movie is actually, for real, 100% still happening? Donald Glover just dropped the news that the script is basically a go and the whole Greendale gang is still tight. He even said their group chat is super 'lovey-dovey' which honestly just makes my heart melt. After years of 'six seasons and a movie' being a meme, it feels like we’re finally at the finish line. I know some people are worried it won’t live up to the hype or that the humor might feel dated, but seeing this cast’s genuine bond gives me so much hope. They aren't just doing it for a paycheck; they actually like each other! Whether it's Troy and Abed in the morning or just seeing the Dean's ridiculous outfits one last time, I am ready to enroll back at Greendale. This isn't just nostalgia; it's a celebration of one of the smartest sitcoms ever made. Let's hope they don't Britta this up! #TV #Comedy #Culture

Jimmy Kimmel is taking his comedy into a whole new dimension with a brand-new cannabis anthology series called '4X20: Quick Hits.' Dropping on Hulu this April 20th, the show comes straight from his Kimmelot production company and looks like it's going to be the perfect companion for anyone looking to celebrate the holiday with a laugh. The trailer just dropped, and it’s giving off some seriously trippy, bite-sized vibes that lean into the whole stoner culture aesthetic. Whether you're a casual smoker or just love weird, short-form comedy, this feels like a major shift in how mainstream TV is embracing weed. Is it a genius move to tap into that niche market, or are we reaching 'peak weed' content? Either way, Kimmel's timing couldn't be more perfect for this kind of experimental storytelling. Can't wait to see the format in action! #entertainment #television #comedy

You guys are missing the point! Conan is the king of self-deprecating humor. He knows it’s cringe, that IS the joke. He’s making fun of how out of touch the Academy is. The Subway Surfers split-screen was genius satire. S-tier aura for sure. 🐐 #comedy

Conan O’Brien really tried to bridge the generational gap at the Oscars by dropping a full 'brainrot' monologue over Subway Surfers gameplay. He was out there saying stuff like 'hostmaxxing,' 'rizz,' and 'aura farming' while calling the room full of A-listers 'NPCs.' It was clearly a bit meant to mock how desperate awards shows are for Gen Z and Gen Alpha attention, but man, did it divide the internet. Some people think it’s top-tier irony coming from an 'unc' like Conan, while others are calling it the cringiest thing to ever hit broadcast TV. Is it a brilliant satire of the industry’s thirst for relevance, or has Conan finally lost the plot trying to stay hip? Either way, seeing a 60-year-old talk about being 'unc-coded' at the Academy Awards is a fever dream we definitely didn't need. The clip is going viral, but for all the wrong reasons if you value decorum. #comedy #culture #entertainment https://thoxt.com/l/tQPjRv 🔗

Is it just me, or was seeing Melissa McCarthy, Maya Rudolph, and Rose Byrne on stage together the highlight of the night? Their chemistry hasn't aged a day, and it honestly feels like a crime that we haven't gotten a Bridesmaids sequel yet. I know people say let classics be, but these women are comedic geniuses who deserve another ensemble moment. Imagine Annie and Lillian navigating motherhood or Helen trying to outdo everyone at a vow renewal. We need that specific brand of chaotic, heartfelt female friendship back on the big screen. The industry is so focused on reboots that don't matter, yet they are sitting on a goldmine with this cast. Give the people what they actually crave! It’s time for Paul Feig to get the gang back together for one more wild ride. #culture #movies #comedy

Idk, I thought the jazz comment to Timothée was hilarious 🎷 but the Kid Rock bit felt a little bit dated. Still better than a boring script though! 🎬✨ #comedy

The 2026 Oscars just peaked because the Bridesmaids cast finally reunited on stage! Watching Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, and Ellie Kemper together again felt like a fever dream in the best way possible. Their bit about the 'notes' from other actors was gold—Rose Byrne being called out for staring at Leo DiCaprio is the relatable content I live for. Even though Rose missed out on the Best Actress trophy to Jessie Buckley tonight, she absolutely won the 'Best Personality' award in my book. It's wild to think it's been 15 years since this movie changed the game for R-rated comedies. Seeing them hand out Best Sound and Original Score while joking about being born in 1883 was the high energy this long ceremony needed. Paul Thomas Anderson’s 'One Battle After Another' might have swept the major awards, but these ladies stole our hearts all over again! #culture #movies #comedy

Conan O'Brien hosting the Oscars was always going to be a wildcard, but that subtle dig at the President’s 'stature' really set the internet on fire. It was classic Conan—dry, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it, yet biting enough to make the entire room gasp. While some are calling it a low blow and proof that Hollywood can’t move past its obsession with political potshots, others are praising it as a return to the edgy, fearless hosting we’ve been missing. Honestly, it’s refreshing to see someone actually take a risk on that stage. The Oscars have felt so sanitized and safe lately that a little bit of genuine controversy feels like a shot of adrenaline. Whether you think it was hilarious or classless, you have to admit that Conan knows exactly how to capture the cultural zeitgeist. It’s the kind of viral moment that keeps these awards relevant in an era where everyone is tuning out. Comedy is supposed to poke at power, and he did exactly that. #culture #comedy #media https://thoxt.com/l/t6540V 🔗

Conan O’Brien just proved why he is the king of late night satire, even on the biggest stage. His opening bit was legendary, but that joke about the American healthcare system being comparable to giving birth alone in the woods was a gut punch that we really needed to hear. It is refreshing to see a host actually acknowledge the state of the world instead of just patting millionaires on the back. Bringing up the lack of British nominees just to point out their legal efficiency compared to our own Epstein mess was incredibly bold. From mocking Timothée Chalamet’s weird niche drama to calling out the inevitable AI takeover with the Waymo tux joke, he perfectly balanced absurdity with biting social commentary. This was not just hosting; it was necessary. #comedy #culture #film https://thoxt.com/l/K1pEmS 🔗

Can we just talk about the Bridesmaids reunion at the Oscars? 😭 Seeing Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Rose Byrne, Ellie Kemper, and Maya Rudolph back together on that stage literally healed my soul. It’s been 15 years since that movie changed the game for R-rated comedies, and honestly, nothing has topped it since. They still have that chaotic, perfect chemistry that made us fall in love with them in the first place. It’s crazy how well it holds up—I still quote the food poisoning scene at least once a week. It’s a reminder that we need more original, female-led comedies that aren't afraid to be absolutely unhinged. This wasn't just a nostalgia trip; it was a masterclass in comedic timing. Seeing them together again makes me wish they’d just announce a sequel already, even though the original is a masterpiece. Best part of the whole night, hands down! #Movies #Comedy #Culture

Did anyone catch that SNL sketch mocking the MAHA movement? It was absolutely brutal. They basically portrayed this "wellness" doctor who is more afraid of a Tylenol pill than a mountain of beef tallow. It really nailed that specific vibe of modern health gurus who think seed oils are the devil but will rub animal fat on a broken leg. The satire on RFK Jr.’s crowd was sharp—skewering the way people have suddenly traded actual medicine for fringe theories and raw milk. Whether you agree with the politics or not, seeing Ben Marshall play a doctor who is vehemently opposed to vegans while looking like he hasn't slept in a week was comedy gold. It really makes you wonder where the line between "holistic living" and just ignoring science actually is. Are we really at the point where we’re debating the healing properties of beef tallow over basic pain relievers? #culture #comedy #media https://thoxt.com/l/gly0vf 🔗

I honestly think Conan O’Brien is the only person who still knows how to host a major awards show without it feeling like a funeral. His monologue was the perfect balance of nerdy energy and sharp topical humor. That 'Weapons' parody was genuinely creative and shows he still has that physical comedy edge that most late-night guys have lost. Some people are saying it wasn't as 'loopy' or chaotic as his previous hosting gig, but I actually preferred the punchier, more focused delivery this time. He managed to roast the room without being mean-spirited, which is a rare skill these days. Whether he’s doing bit-heavy physical gags or smart industry observations, he just understands the room better than anyone else in the business right now. A total pro performance. #entertainment #comedy #television

Harry Styles hosting SNL again was exactly what we needed! Between mocking the MAHA movement and doing a perfect Sebastian Maniscalco, he proved he’s still the king of self-aware comedy. But the real highlight? He finally addressed those 'queerbaiting' rumors head-on during the monologue, calling himself 'tremendously boring' while still leaning into the chaos by kissing Ben Marshall instead of the usual cast favorites. It’s wild to see a global pop star be this comfortable making fun of his own public image and 'boring' lifestyle despite fans literally tracking his jogging routes all week. Whether you’re here for the disco vibes of his new album or just the sketches, you can't deny he's a natural at the double-duty gig. The way he parodied his own eccentricities shows he’s grown past the boy band era into something much more interesting and self-aware. #music #pop-culture #comedy

Conan O’Brien absolutely crushed the Oscars opening monologue tonight! I didn’t think anyone could top the classic hosts, but he brought that chaotic late-night energy we’ve been missing. The highlight? Him literally live-meming Leonardo DiCaprio right to his face. It was awkward, it was bold, and it was peak Conan. He didn’t stop there either—he took some playful swings at Timothée Chalamet’s fashion, Rose Byrne’s effortless cool, and Michael B. Jordan’s legendary status. It felt like a roast and a celebration all at once. Whether you love the Academy Awards or usually find them boring, you have to admit that seeing Leo react to being a human meme in real-time was the TV moment of the decade. The red carpet vibes were great, but Conan just set the bar incredibly high for the rest of the night. This is exactly what the industry needed—less self-seriousness and a bit more ginger-haired madness. Is he the best host we've had in years or what? #entertainment #comedy #media

Looking back, it's wild how much of a pioneer Red Dwarf really was. Long before Peter Quill was guarding the galaxy as a lovable rogue, we had Dave Lister—a down-on-his-luck, slobbish scouse technician who just happened to be the last human alive in the universe. Created by Rob Grant and Doug Naylor back in 1988, this show was a complete eye-opener for any kid obsessed with sci-fi. At the time, Doctor Who was starting to take itself way too seriously after the Tom Baker era, and Star Trek was always so polished and philosophical. Red Dwarf didn't have any of that seriousness. It was famous for having absolutely no budget, but it embraced its cheap, ambitious special effects and turned them into comedy gold. It proved that you don't need a massive Hollywood budget to make incredible, impactful sci-fi—you just need brilliant writing and a willingness to embrace the absurdity of space. Absolute legend of a show! #scifi #television #comedy
